Our Music Planner is here to help you design the best musical experience possible for your wedding. We have described the favorite sections of the ceremony where music can be selected that will create the right ambiance for you and your guests.
It will also let you know what the quartet may require from you or your pre-designated coordinator to help the ceremony flow smoothly.
Prelude Music
The Prelude typically begins about 20 minutes before the start of the
Processional and is used for the seating of the guests.
This music can be arranged to reflect a special mood you may wish to set or to present the theme of your wedding prior to the ceremony. You can coordinate with us what music you prefer during the prelude or we can arrange a nice variety for you.
The last piece in the Prelude is typically performed during the seating of the special persons in your life (e.g., mothers, grandmothers, etc.). Please inform us if you have a preference for the seating of these guests.
Remember that we need a cue from your pre-designated coordinator a few moments before the seating of the special guests. If there is a delay for any reason, we will continue playing until we receive the cue from your coordinator that the special guests are ready to be seated.
Note that seating the VIP's signals that the Processional is ready to begin.
Processional Music
The Processional officially begins the ceremony. The quartet will need
to know exactly how many are in the processional and who will be last
to enter before the bride. We will also need to know how the groomsmen,
groom, and officiant will enter.
Bridesmaids' Processional music selection is performed as they enter.
Bride's Processional music selection music selection is performed as the bride enters.
Ceremony Music
Please let us know if you would like to have music provided during the
Unity Candle or any other time during the ceremony.
Recessional Music
This closing section of the wedding ceremony accompanies the most
anticipated moment: the introduction of the new couple. The music
provided here will accent the celebration of the event just witnessed.
The quartet will commence the music upon receiving the cue to begin the Recessional (e.g., introduction, announcement, or benediction).
Providing the quartet a complete copy of your ceremony in advance would be very helpful.
